Paradox between Human and Robots
Human always want to live happily. They don't like to live with hard problems or something that is difficult. Human are individuals. They live by themselves. Others don’t like bothering them. It is a nature of human. Nowadays, human is going to make life be easier. They have created machine, system, or something else, which make life become easier.
They also made robots. Robot is like a copy of human. Based of face, body, and the system of problem solving. It means that robot has the same ideas about how to do or deal with orders. Robots always obey to its creator. The creator is human. Then, robots always receive and do orders from human. Basically, if the creator is human, they have to be better than robot obviously. Human should have better than robots, in everything, within about quantitative and qualitative. Quantitative means that human should produce more (about something that can be calculated) than robots, produce in this case means produce about everything. While, qualitative means that human should produce better (about something that can’t be calculated) than robots.
That’s the basic rule about a creator and the product. So, it should be that human are all better. From movie I watched before, A Bicentennial Man, I thought something. Nowadays, that basic rule has changed. I think that robot is better now. It has better both in qualitative and quantitative. If you want to know further, please read my writing below. I have three paradoxes that differences between human and robots.
The first is about the result of product we produce. If we produce something, actually we are human; we should produce some products better than robots. Nowadays, robots produce products better than us. It is better than us. Impossible. That’s not what it should be. An example is about producing products in orders like doing something. We are as human, should make something be the best, we take orders or works with the best do we can. It’s the basic rule, but, in fact, is the opposite. We are too lazy to do something. We just do. We don't do the best. It is different with robots; it does well. Even though robot is a machine, human should not lose.
The second is about discipline. Human should have more discipline than robots. Why? Human have commitment to do. They have something to be proved when they tell about something. It is different with robot; robot doesn't have to. An example is about discipline on commitment to do something. When human said that they would do something, in fact, they don't do it. While, robots always do something from what they told before. When robot said “yes” to human, they would do that.
The third is about the strength of body, both body and minds. Human should be better. They have to prove that. Nowadays, human are weaker. They easily give up on something, they haven’t struggle yet to catch what they want. An example is when human got a problem; they got depressed and did nothing. Robots do better. They don't give up; they always try to do an order. Robot never gives up. It’s totally different with human.
I think that’s my opinion about paradoxes between human and robots. I am sorry, honestly, I still don't understand about this topic. The conclusion is, we should not be like robots. We have to be and to do better than robots. Look at yourself, and ask something to your heart, are we better? Yes, we are.
In other way, I got late when I send this assignment. Mrs. Bening told us that some people don't have to do this work. But, I love writing words with English. So, I made it. Please kindly check my assignment, Mrs. Bening. Thank you.
