Hello, I have assignment from Mrs. Bening about Dreams House. In this occasion, we had present in front of the class, by groups, told the audience about what house we wanted to build, and how we enjoyed those luxurious things. Mrs. Bening told us that we could choose assignment by telling dreams house or telling the best speaker from the presentation. I chose about telling the best speaker. I got three names, Steven, Wawan, and Ivan. I got reasons why I chose three of them. But, I have to choose the best from those three persons. I prefer to choose Steven. He is good at English; he could speak well than anybody else in the class. Let me tell three reasons why I chose him.
First, Steven has better sounds of voice than Wawan and Ivan. From those voices, it attracted us to hear the sound. We; as audiences, were attracted to listen to him, to got attention to him. But, it wasn’t only my opinion, the audiences, which are almost, the entire persons of the class agreed with that. I think, that is a gift. A gift from God that makes Steven be that. In the other about the voice, Steven has a good accent, he could speak well, and it feels like he is a British, not Indonesian who speaks English. Wawan is good enough at that thing, and also Ivan. But, Steven is better than anybody else. I said this cause I there’s a proof about it. The entire of audiences got attention to Steven. Wawan and Ivan were not bad at using English, they were good, and they didn't stop (re: hardly to say something) when talking. But, they were not as good as Steven.
Second, Steven could use body language and humor well. He could use his face or his hand to tell the audiences about the thing he explained. Besides of that, he has a sense of humor. He often made audience be laugh or smile. Wawan has a sense of humor too, actually when he said about the home theater and meeting room with other superheroes. But, it was only one climax humor from Wawan, while; Steven made audiences be smile more times. In the other side, Ivan seemed a serious person. But, he looked good when telling the material, cause Ivan had prepared that before. I think Ivan was good if he was a marketing position, cause he looked trusted when he was presenting the presentation.
Third, Steven was creative. He could answer and explained something out of the box. He always uses words that I didn't imagine before. The example, when he was explaining about the living room. He told about the television and the size of the room. I didn't imagine words of the answer before. I thought it would be some average or so-so asnwer. But, it didn't. While, Wawan was good enough when he told about the car in his dreams house. It was interesting. In the other, I think Ivan was in average. Ivan didn't seem someone who uses creativeness more, he is someone; who is good with practice.
Yeah, I think that’s why I chose three of all. But, I still prefer to choose Steven; he is better than others. This could be a motivational thing or a bad thing. I hope some people could learn something from these words. I’m sorry if my explanation is not good enough, or much enough. Thank you.
